Jr. Project Engineer

Duties, Responsibilities and Authorities: 

• Act as assistant and reports to Project-in-Charge (PIC). 

• Responsible in organizing materials and ensuring sites are safe and clean in coordination with the Safety Officer. 

• Prepares material estimate/quantification, necessary tools, and other project resources required for the implementation of the project via Material Request Slip (MRS) for review and approval of the PIC and the COD Head. 

• Conducts regular inspection and monitoring of daily site activities, coordinates and reports to PIC any non-conformance with the approved or For Construction Drawings (FCD), approved Method Statement and Project Quality Control Assurance Procedure and Policy (QCAPP). 

• Monitor and ensure the site activities are in accordance with the approved and latest project schedule. 

• Maintains record keeping of daily activities and transfer it to the Weekly Accomplishment Report for PMCom and KPI reporting of the project for PIC’s review and endorsement to COD Head.  

• Sketch or draw details base on site condition for shop drawing endorsement to DED.  

• Assist with Procurement by communicating with some suppliers and vendors to check the conformance of their material and/or services needed for the project and endorse it to PIC. 

• Politely communicates with client and other internal and external stakeholders, if the PIC is not available at site. 

• Perform other duties/tasks that may be assigned from time to time.

Job Qualifications: 

• Graduate of BS Civil/ Mechanical Engineering. 

• Preferably with PRC License 

• Experience in a similar role. 

• Basic leadership and organizational skills. 

• Basic project management skills. 

• Ability to apply logical and critical thinking skills to projects. 

• Good written and verbal communication skills.
