Project Cost Control Engineer / Analyst

Role Overview 

Responsible for monitoring project costs, tracking progress, and supporting project teams to ensure profitability, accurate billing, and efficient resource management.

Key Responsibilities 

• Monitor project costs vs. budget and prepare variance analysis  

• Track and reconcile project expenses from start to completion  

• Ensure cost efficiency for materials, manpower, and resources  

• Support billing accuracy and monitor unbilled receivables  

• Coordinate with Operations and Finance on billing and collection concerns  

• Identify cost and schedule risks and recommend corrective actions  

• Ensure timely submission of progress billing and project documents  

• Collaborate with project teams to track profitability and performance  

Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field  

• 2–3 years experience in cost control, project monitoring, or similar role  

• Strong analytical and MS Excel skills (data analysis, formulas, pivot tables)  

• Background in budgeting, variance analysis, and financial reporting  

• Good communication and stakeholder coordination skills  

• Detail-oriented and able to work independently  

• Experience in construction, utilities, or O&M is an advantage
