Project Site Nurse

Duties, Responsibilities and Authorities: 

• Health and Safety Oversight: The resident project nurse is responsible for ensuring the health and safety of all personnel on the construction site. They collaborate with project managers, safety officers, and contractors to develop and implement safety policies and procedures. 

• Risk Assessment and Prevention: Conducting risk assessments to identify potential health and safety hazards associated with construction activities. Implementing preventive measures and providing recommendations to mitigate risks and maintain a safe working environment. 

• Injury and Illness Management: Providing immediate medical assistance to injured or ill workers, administering first aid, and coordinating emergency medical services when necessary. Maintaining records of incidents, injuries, and illnesses and assisting with workers' compensation claims. 

• Health Promotion and Training: Developing and delivering health promotion programs, training sessions, and educational materials to enhance workers' understanding of health and safety practices. Promoting and encouraging proactive health management among construction personnel. 

• Compliance Monitoring: Conducting regular inspections to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies. Identifying non-compliance issues and working with stakeholders to rectify deficiencies.

Job Qualifications: 

• Graduate on Bachelor of Science in Nursing with 2 years’ experience in construction health 

• practices 

• Registered Nurse with valid license 

• With BOSH-OHNAP Training 

• With COSH training certificate 

• Deep understanding of legal and health guidelines 

• Ability in producing reports and developing relevant policies. 

• Must have intermediate to advance knowledge in MS Offices 

• Must be willing to work in a construction site and must be flexible in the work assignment.
