Senior Process Design Engineer

Duties, Responsibilities and Authorities: 

• Provide technical assistance and coordination with other engineers. 

• Ensure that the facilities are designed in accordance with the latest corporate guidelines with respect to environment and health aspects. 

• Prepare design basis, specification and prepare calculations for equipment selection and plant lay out. 

• Create process flow diagram, material balance and Plant operation expense. 

• Conduct  technical reviews and bid evaluation and performance evaluation of new technology. 

• Ensure Process design and engineering compliance with relevant codes, standards and Company standards. 

• Ensure full utilization of the existing facilities while optimizing the facilities required for the new projects. 

• Lead in the research and  development of  new process simulations or utilize/update existing simulations for evaluation of plant performance and design changes. 

• Use design software to develop models and drawings of  treatment facilties. 

• Provide technical expertise on all engineering subject matter pertaining to Process engineering and design. 

• Assess all engineering prototypes to determine issues or risks. 

• Provide technical assistance during installation, pre-commissioning, and commissioning. 

• Contribute input and expertise in the development and analysis of various design options and business. models to design optimization and validation. 

• May sign plans and Process flow diagram.

Job Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering. 

• Minimum of 5 years working experience in similar field. 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

• Accurate and strong attention to detail. 

• Proficient in MS Office and popular design software. 

• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
