Green Buildings

The Philippine Green Building Code requires that 30% of the facilities' water consumption be recycled and reused via its STP, for non-potable purposes. Ecosystem has been enabling its clients in the Philippines recycle and reuse their sewage water since 2004.

Water reuse reduces potable water consumption by enabling recycled water to be deployed for non-potable applications.

This positively and directly impacts water security of the geographic locality of the project.

This transforms the STP into a Water Reclamation Facility (WRF), and from a cost center into an aggressive savings center due to decreased potable water purchase and other water utility charges (sewerage and environmental fees).

Common applications: plants and green spaces management and maintenance, car fleet washing, grounds keeping and pressure washing of concrete, toilets and urinals flushing, and cooling tower operations.
